bugs. they're everywhere.
earlier today, swarms of mosquitos, gnats, dragonflies and not to mention bees bouncing off every window in the apartment. i thought they were small birds at first, until i lifted the blinds to look for the fallen bodies and saw a few bees bumping against the window instead.
tonight, we have crickets. i already have crickets living in my ears (well, the sound anyway) and now they're outside my window driving me crazy.

a little background on the last photo which i took earlier this year. i had been out walking poa-poa, and it was a chilly but beautiful day. while she was running around, i had spent time looking up at the sky and all the bare trees in the neighborhood. i remember thinking how much i wanted spring to be here but it was only january with a few more months to go. then, as we were making our way back to the apartment, i looked up at the leafless tree in front of me and for a brief moment, a cotton tree sprung out of thin air. it was as if i gotten my wish. the clouds had floated by at just the right time and the tree looked like it was covered with cotton, or cherry blossoms. it turned out to be a spring-like day after all...
