Random things...

Still haven't found a replacement camera since Elph stopped working.

My camera phone sucks.  I used it at the Warped Tour last week and snagged clips of 3oh!3, Angels & Airwaves, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Say Anything, Shwayze, Story of the Year, and The Dillinger Escape Plan.  But I have nothing to show for it.

Dreaming with my eyes half open is freaky.  After the Warped Tour and dinner that night, I came home and fell asleep on the couch.  The strangler was back, and this time it had a face, something like a charcoal drawing.  I could feel its presence as if it was sitting on the couch next to me, and then I saw its face above mine, moving in and out of view.  I was terrified, couldn't move and screamed through closed lips.  Poa Poa heard me and I heard her come running from the bedroom into the living room.  At that point all I could see was the ceiling but kept screaming until I saw Poa Poa and heard her whimpering as she licked my face.  I slowly realized it was just a dream, sat up on the couch and thanked her for waking me up.  I'd only been asleep for half an hour, but it felt like I'd been dreaming all night.

So the new orchid I brought home two weeks ago isn't doing so well.  A few of the buds dropped last week and I found a couple of flowers on the table this past Sunday.  Kinda bummed about that.

And now It's time for lunch and I have a hankerin' for noodle soup.

because the one i'm in now is busted.

it keeps nibbling on food from christmas dinner; craves sweets, especially cake with whipped cream (or buttercream) frosting, custard, hot cocoa...ANYTHING with sugar; hasn't gone to the gym in a week; hasn't been motivated to do much of anything except watch movies; seems to function on 5 hours of sleep.

i feel so toxic.

and to think i'm holding off until january 1st to start my two week vegetarian diet.  earlier this year i promised a friend of mine that i would give it a try but haven't so i'm giving it a go come january. 

that reminds me, i still need to figure out my menu.  if i plan ahead, i'm more likely to stick to the two week trial so i better start looking for recipes.

really, that's what i tell myself when i look at the "sell by date" on a container of milk or cream.  well, i've been sniffing a bottle of half-n-half i have in the fridge since sept 19th.  i use it in my morning coffee (and sometimes in red pasta sauce) but today i noticed that faint smell of approaching rot.  it wasn't overpowering at all and smelled more good than bad, so i used a couple of tablespoons in my coffee.  it was fine and i'm pretty sure i'll keep using it until there's a distinct, pungent smell but it makes me wonder if most people would've tossed the stuff by now.

to use or not to use, it's a matter of smell if you ask me.

for the first time in who knows how long, i'm actually feeling sleepy.  i was going to write about the wretched pain in my gut, which i'm pretty sure had to do with what i ate for dinner (fish and roasted vegetables), but i'm too tired to talk about it now. 

seriously, i'm typing this with one eye open so i better get to bed.

maybe i'll dream of having superpowers while i still have heroes on the brain.

yeah, my doctor.  i'm seeing her again next week.  been having a weird vibraty feeling throughout my guttiwuts like clockwork.  so she says it's dyspepsia, but i'm thinking it's all in my gulliver. 

i'm stressed and losing my mind.

i need a vacation.
