i took my mom shopping last month at a local farmers market and she bought a bunch of baby bananas--they were so tasty! their small portion and sweetness was perfect for a healthy snack and i even froze a few for later use (mmm, smoothies).

i love walking around my neighborhood. it's usually quiet and the scenery is pretty nice. these are things i look forward to on my walks but when i find people's trash on the ground, i start seeing red.

saturday, my brother and i saw the movie "the messengers". it was creepy, and i was spooked a few times--i hate it when i'm the only person who screams. overall, i enjoyed the movie and it was better than what i expected. afterward, we ran a couple of errands, then headed back to the apartment, made dinner and chilled for the rest of the night.
my life in perspective, always a vanishing point.
speaking of chilled. i went out in the freezing cold to take a few photos that night. the moon was out and it was especially beautiful with the clouds drifting across the sky. i couldn't resist capturing the moment, the night was too beautiful.
i had taken poa-poa out earlier and my hands were still shaking from the cold, so i had to use my tripod. there was no way i would've been able to get a steady shot with my body and hands vibrating all over the place. geez it was cold that night.
night lights
sunday was laid back. went to a superbowl party at a friend's house and had loads of fun. i don't know much about football, but i'm always up for hanging with friends. btw, i thought prince's half time performance totally rocked.
