did anyone (besides longest flight and roemer) notice that the tree in the last photo of my "springtime" post didn't have any leaves? for those of you who saw the photo, did you think it was a tree with cherry blossoms, or no? i'm just curious...

a little background on the last photo which i took earlier this year. i had been out walking poa-poa, and it was a chilly but beautiful day. while she was running around, i had spent time looking up at the sky and all the bare trees in the neighborhood. i remember thinking how much i wanted spring to be here but it was only january with a few more months to go. then, as we were making our way back to the apartment, i looked up at the leafless tree in front of me and for a brief moment, a cotton tree sprung out of thin air. it was as if i gotten my wish. the clouds had floated by at just the right time and the tree looked like it was covered with cotton, or cherry blossoms. it turned out to be a spring-like day after all...
