My photography has temporarily taken a back seat to my new job.
I miss my camera.
It was an eventful first week at the new job...so much so that I haven't had a chance to decorate my office.
What happens when you think you're touching a cold electric stove element but it's not and you have an unusually long/delayed reaction to pull away? IMMENSE pain and numbness in your fingertip for days. (typing hasn't been easy.)
Looking on the bright side: at least it didn't and still hasn't blistered. And I didn't put my whole hand on the damn thing.
New Year's Eve...
I hope this year is a good one for everyone, or at least better than the last. I have a couple of goals to get things moving but as usual, they're not set in stone. Anyhoo, time for me to get my grub on...turnip greens, black-eyed peas (both cooked with ham), and cornbread.
