weekend
saturday, caught an afternoon movie, the departed by martin scorsese. excellent. "a defiantly uncompromised vision of a society rotting from the inside..." (peter travers, rolling stone review).
afterward, dinner with friends at agnes & muriel's. yum yum YUMMM. our table had poor lighting so i couldn't take pictures of everyone's meal, but we had THE best coca cola ribs EVAR. the meat was so tender it just fell off the bone before it hit my mouth. and the flavor was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy...sooo good!
sunday, spent the day outside. washed my car and ran a few errands. walked the dog and showed my brother a couple of trees that look a bit scary to me--the roots freak me out.
i spent my nights looking at the sky, taking pictures and fuhtzing around with my camcorder to get a better view of the full moon and its craters. the digital zoom on that thing is way better than my little point and shoot camera. one of these days i really should set up my telescope...would make it whole a lot easier for stargazing.
the weather was gorgeous all weekend and now i feel rejuvenated. i just hope the feeling will last me through the rest of the week!
