i joined my brother, his coworkers and hundreds of other people on
saturday for the atlanta walk to cure diabetes. we started in
centennial olympic park and walked three miles around the downtown
area. it was fun and i got to see more of the city without
worrying about being hit by a car.

atlanta beamsafter the walk we grabbed lunch at a korean restaurant which serves all kinds of tofu dishes, mostly soups and stews.
banchan and spicy tofu stewsunday,
i took poa-poa to a park near my neighborhood where we spent a couple
of hours walking around and enjoying the sunny weather. i've been
going a couple of times a week and have come to realize that it's not
as relaxing as i'd hoped it would be. having to dodge baby
strollers, dog poop and people walking/jogging on the wrong side of a narrow path
really gets on my nerves.
i know one of these days i'm going to say something insensitive, or elbow the next person who doesn't have the courtesy to share the sidewalk. but until then, i'm going to keep telling myself to enjoy the view...
guerrilla marketing?
eureka! fools gold.

See, I could do a walk, but not a run. I don't even run for elevators, that's out anti-run I am. :-) No, but good for you for volunteering for the charity. You're a doer.
Cool 'shrooms photo. What is that on the rock in the middle of the creek? It looks like the back end of a lizard.
oh, and that thing on the rock is a leaf, but now all i see is the back end of a lizard thanks to you. ;-)
Mmm...that soon-doo-boo jji-gae (?~I have no idea how to spell that in English!) looks so tasty...my favourite. Have to make some soon!!
Your mushroom shot is awesome, btw~~I second that previous comment.
