watching the back of my eyelids

Angela!

You fell asleep. Silly girl. Maybe you should of napped before going. :-P

"digest the movie"...LOL

Yeah, I heard that movie is a long one! Guess you'll have to wait for the rental version, eh?

*sigh* i know. i was so excited about seeing it but the movie just couldn't keep my attention. from what i could tell of the audience, my head wasn't the only one bobbing up and down.

"Guess you'll have to wait for the rental version, eh?"

i have a feeling i'll watch it again in a few weeks since my brother has free movie passes. but i'm so mad at myself for spending $9.50 just to doze off-and-on in an uncomfortable seat. if it wasn't the food coma, then maybe it was karma. we had about 30 minutes to kill before the movie so we walked around border's bookstore. there was a guy sleeping in a chair and he'd wake up to look at the book in his lap, quickly flip a few pages, then fall back asleep. i laughed. little did i know i would be doing the same.
I still haven't watched any of the Pirates movies. Not that I don't care to, just keep forgetting! I'm assuming the food was good if it put you in a "food coma".
I haven't seen the second one yet, the fact that you fell asleep doesn't inspire me to rent the second and go see the third in theatres though.
we went to a place called joe's crab shack and i had snow crab, a couple of piece of coconut shrimp and a tropical mojito. good stuff!
you should at least rent the second one--it was pretty good.
[this is good]
I can't believe you. LOLOL.
I want to see it so badly, so is there anything after the credits for us to stay and watch or not? LOL
RPM, seriously, i felt like the world's biggest bobble head doll when we left! from nodding to stay awake to shaking my head in disbelief that i'd missed most of the movie--biggest bobble head, ever.
oh, yes, there's more and you'll be waiting a bit--the credits are LONG.
We didn't stay till after the credits. I was ready to get out of there too!
I was getting ants in my pants! haha
so you FELL ASLEEP?! that doesn't bode well for the movie. hehe. i still wanna see it in the theater, though.
so the movie is basically boring?? [-_-]
gauging from the audience's applause at the end, it wasn't boring to some. i asked my brother and friends what they though and i got an "okay" "too long" and a "didn't like it". i can't say what i thought because i, well, you know...fell asleep. =\
woah. i knew spiderman was going to be long . . . but not pirates! i think i'll wait for the DVD. i hate doing the bobblehead thing in the uncomfortable seats, too.
i read a few reviews over the weekend and it turns out i really didn't miss much. =\ i guess i'll find out what i missed when it's on DVD.
Yeah I gotta weigh in to add (now that I've seen it)...I could see a couple spots where that could happen.

I went to the restroom, came back and asked my friend what I missed. The response, "nothing that impacts the story."

Ouch.
hmm, maybe i don't want to see it when it comes out on DVD. now i'm thinking i should wait until it's on one of the cable tv channels.
That's interesting. Gauging from my audience's reactions and the few people I've talked to, most folks seemed to like it. Yes, it was long, and I could think of few sections (or people) I could trim off of it, but so far, I've heard mostly positive reactions.

And I noticed that you recommended the second one. Personally, I think that film's the weakest of the three.
i can't say if i liked POTC3 or not but the more people i talk to, it's pretty clear that i did miss some good stuff.
