oh masa really wants to see this flick. i guess we should go. i used to be SUCH a moviehead but since we came here in october, i think we've seen ONE movie in the theater!

anyway, maybe it's not oscar-worthy (who cares, right), but if you liked it, at least it will be a decent bit of entertainment one afternoon, hm?

[this is good]
incidentally, that totally cracked me up: that image of your trying to transform your mini cooper hahahahahaha

Hate to say it, but Transformers were past my time -- though I think I still might go just for the spectacle of it.

I've heard rumors that the mystery promo is a JJ Abrams (Alias -- LOST) project that involves the HP Lovecraft universe of Cthulu and The Old Ones.... and that could be about the coolest thing ever if done right.

oh, take the boy out for a movie, mc! a bit of a warning, if you hate product plugs then brace yourself--most of the transformers are GM cars and trucks. personally, i didn't mind. it's hollywood, it's expected and honestly, i didn't care--a good looking car is a good looking car. i was there for the action and eye candy! ;D
i better brush up on the lovecraft universe then!
oh, man... everyone around us was grumbling after that trailer... we were all confused. well, everyone but steve. he totally knew about the trailer. and when the date popped up and everyone was like, "WHAT? HUH?" steve yells out, "that's all ya get!" hehe. i was laughing so hard. hehe...

transformers was fun. just... long. heh.

i say...much like a sandwich...what's a movie without cheese?

DUDE!! I loved loved loved loved LOVED Transformers!!

When I heard that Optimus Prime's voice was done by the original guy from the cartoon my heart did little flipflops of joy!

Yeah, easily the best movie I've seen in a very long time!

Also, I saw that mysterous trailer too.. Time to investigate!

when i heard that optimus prime was going to be the original optimus, my heart also did little flipflops of joy!

it also did little flipflops of joy when i heard the "tranforming noise" on the big screen. that was awesome. totally worth the price of admission. heh.
ohhh, don't get me started. i couldn't stop talking about the movie and i keep laughing at myself for crushin' on these guys! LOL. i knew cullen was doing the voice for prime but when i heard him i got monster goosebumps, and i probably could have caught flies the way my mouth was open for most of the movie! and did you notice hugo weaving was the voice of megatron?!
[this is good]
I didn't get that trailer in my theater. :-( Boo.

Sorry, I've been away. Life has been a [insert colorful metaphor]. Did you miss me? Probably not. Forget you then!

Anyway, my best friend just called me and told that she just saw Transformers and loved it! I had to laugh because she was so excited about it. I've only heard 2 negative reviews, and neither were very substantive. Michael Bay did good on this one, I have to say. I enjoyed it immensely.

My only regret is that I didn't get to see it in a movie theater with a bunch of geeky fans like myself. I was in a theater with a bunch of "normies." Whatever. Other folks told that in their theaters, people applauded when Peter Cullen first spoke. I wanted that audience!

BTW, did you see StarScream take off into space after the credits began?
HAHA, you know i'm your friendly neighborhood stalker--i stopped by today and started to get worried when i'd seen you still hadn't posted anything since last week. i thought i was gonna have to email you or something! ;-)

a good friend of mine called me today to ask what i thought about transformers and she laughed at how giddy i was from talking about ironhide, prime, bumblebee...oh, bumblebee...what a cutie! i loved the chemistry between him and shia. yeah, i was really into the movie and would have loved to have been with an audience that shared my excitement. the sad thing is that most of the people in the audience were soldiers and i thought for sure they would have geeked out. nope. i think i may have been the only one, and the only girl at that.

from the moment we saw and heard blackout transform for the first time, it was all over for me. it was like someone shoved an energon cube in my chest--i was pumped! especially when prime and the rest of the autobots showed up. oh, and i did see starscream fly off! i wasn't leaving until the end of the credits just to be on the safe side, but that's what we were left with. i am SO looking forward to part 2! *insert big ass cheesy grin*

people clapped at the end! The 6pm show was sold out over a week after the movie opened we had to see the 6:30 show which was probably at 65%.
i hope you were among the clappers?
I feel funny clapping at theatres. but I got some claps out before I realized what was happening.
