i ate oatmeal and granola bars nearly everyday for two years before i got sick of it. but now i completely turn my nose up at it. heck, i'm even sick of luna bars.
oh, it's been years since i've had a luna bar! i used to eat them everyday, too, and got tired of them.
what do you normally have for breakfast? i got bored with eggs and toast--that was my usual for a while. tired of cereal, too. same with fruit and yogurt. i need to find something before i give up on breakfast!
- Bagels and cream cheese (mix up the flavors of bagels/cream cheese) - Fruit smoothies w/ protein powder (to keep you from getting hungry 20 minutes later) - Biscuits w/ gravy - Grits (with or without melted cheese) - Biscuits w/ pre-cooked canadian bacon - Hot-Pockets (either the ham & cheese kind or one of their new breakfast kinds)
wulf, i over indulged on french toast a while back but maybe i can give it a go again, this time with bacon. hmm, now that i think about it, i'm just not feeling eggs and bread. =\
ross, i was on a kick with protein shakes and smoothies but they weren't agreeing with my stomach. as for grits, i have to take break from that as well. when i wasn't eating oatmeal for breakfast the last two months, it was grits. funny that you should mention bagels and cream cheese though. i picked up a bag of strawberry mini bagels yesterday, but i forgot the cream cheese. i should have gone with an assortment of flavors but i guess i'll try that next week. i haven't had canadian bacon in a while so i'll have to pick that up, too. thanks!
I eat oatmeal two or three times a month. Of course I use vanilla soy milk. Yum! For me, eating oatmeal is like taking the right dose of aspirin. It cures most of what ails me.
Of course, being a Southerner, I'm a fan of bacon. Humph...whom am I fooling? It's all about the pork in the A.M. LOL!

French toast and bacon is one of my favorite combinations.
