just got back from seeing 300, and i'm pretty sure i'll have to see it again. WOW. gerard butler as king leonidas--ahhhmazing! watching him was like watching mel gibson as william wallace in braveheart.

i'd write more but i have the worst headache, which started this afternoon and still hasn't gone away. but it didn't stop me from enjoying the movie, especially the battle scenes--boy do i love a good fight! i was the happiest girl in the theater.

i definitely want to see it again, without the headache.

Man... I saw a great preview for 300. Hoping it's as good as it looks.

I want to see 300 and we're going to see a movies today. It really isn't my wife's type of movie, but I am hoping if I show her a trailer, it might get her interested.

thanks, reesie, my headache isn't as bad but it's still there. oddly, my brother also had a headache and we were wondering if it was probably weather or allergy related. i'm thinking allergies--i took the poa-poa out this morning and as soon as i walked out the door, i went into a sneezing fit.

matt, show your wife the trailer, or have her read this > review <. if she's not interested, then you should plan on going solo one day. when i looked around at the packed audience (pretty sure the movie was sold out) from last night, i'd say at least 1/3 were women and as everyone left, i didn't hear a single complaint...well, other than, "there were way too many dudes with six-pack abs".

oooh, i'll bet it IS allergies.

i really wanna see that... we have a projector so i thought maybe we'd wait to rent it... but maybe we'll actually go to the theater... but not this weekend. when the crowds die down. crowds make me nervous. heh.

Did you see it in IMAX? There were some artifacts, but for the most part it was gorgeous.

not yet. definitely going to see it again but most likely at regular theater with DLP. my dad hasn't seen it so i'll catch it again in columbus. it's so much better to watch movies there anyway since all the theaters are carmike cinemas with DLP. here in atlanta, we have to drive an hour for that kind of quality so might as well see it when we're visiting my parents.

Thank you. This is the first time I've really considered watching it. My husband saw it at the IMAX and liked it. It just felt like such a hard core guy movie, and I do like some guy movies. Somehow, hearing a girl recommend it changes my mind a little. I didn't know that Gerard Butler was in it. Was he in Timeline? Anyway, maybe I'll check it out now.

ooh, i've been meaning to watch "timeline". glad you mentioned it, and i had no idea gerard was in that. *sigh* i really like him. :)

Timeline...The Phantom...Dear Frankie (a personal Favourite!!) Yep. I'd say the two hours spent looking at Gerard...er, I mean watching those movies is a great idea. :P Glad to hear good "300" reviews! Yay!
