lift with your legs

Man, that is creepy. I can't finish it.

But thanks for sharing! :)
Wow, that is creepy!
This is freaky. For whatever reason, I am now a bit uneasy.
i was telling my friend that i got the willies when i watched the video. it is pretty disturbing and the more i thought about it, it was like watching humanity slipping away.
That is deep, Ang.
i have my moments. ;)
OMG--what a feat of engineering!
so if they could make that quieter, it might be remotely useful. it is so hella cool though. i like how when they kick it, the computer is smart enough to compensate so it doesn't fall down. whoa... so cool.

i think it wouldn't look so creepy if the legs were more like a horse though (there was a front and a back and the knees didn't both just bend inward like they do).
watching it balance itself after being kicked was the cool part. but that was also the part that made me cringe because i responded with sympathy. "aww, that dude kicked that thing...holy sh!t...it balanced itself." the fact that i had feelings for it, and seeing a machine reacting as if it had feelings, gave me the creeps.

the awkward looking legs bothered me, too, but for me it was because it looked like two torso-less people hoping around. i had a hard time seeing the mule in the machine.

creepiness aside, i agree with maliekai, "what a feat of engineering!"
dude, that's creepy...
come on, you know it would make a great baby bouncer for mia.
ooh, i've seen this before. all i can think is "oh the NOISE!!!!!" it makes me crack up. other than that, i think the robot's pretty amazing. never did figure out why all the knees point in . . . i'd think it would walk better built like a deer or something. but then again . . . this isn't nature, so perhaps it shouldn't be build like it.
