I always feel like someone's going to judge me when my dogs are with me and I run into the store for a few minutes, but oh well. I like having them with me. They like being along
i'm just overly protective sometimes. i left my dog in the car for a
few minutes once and even though i could see her from within the store,
it made me uneasy.
this situation was just strange to me. i was looking at the sign where i'd parked
and thought i saw a stuffed animal in the back window. when it moved,
i realized it was a dog sitting back there. personally, i can't imagine leaving a dog in a car
unattended in a parking garage like this. it could have been that this
person was only gone for a couple of minutes but i have a hard time
thinking that was the case. it's a huge underground parking deck and
depending on where they were going, it could take that person a few minutes to get to one of the shops above.
I tried this with my kids, but the cops pulled me over and gave me a ticket. It is also really hard to keep them up there. This summer when I tried it, they puked all over everything while I was in the store. What the heck; I was only in there for a half an hour.
J/K I would never do this to my kids. To other peoples, but not my own.
