i'm so mad at myself right now. my brother called tonight and asked if i had watched heroes. nope. totally forgot. and last week's episode was GOOD--we learned so much about all the characters to keep me wanting to watch more. but i missed tonight's episode and of course i'm pouting. usually, a bunch of us will get together and make a night of it by grabbing dinner and then watching at someone's place. but i'm still out of town this week and no one reminded me that it was on. not even my brother. some friends i have! it's every man for himself, i see. well, i can't complain too much. it'll be on sci-fi...and my brother recorded it. thanks bro! sooo glad you have tivo.

I've heard such good things about this series. I hope it comes to Australia soon!

I love this show!! It's one of the few shows on TV worth watching these days, (for me anyways, since I don't watch a whole lot of TV) .

Incidentally, you do know that they also air it on the Sci-Fi channel on Fridays, and you can also buy all the episodes on iTunes Store if you don't record them when they air on TiVo, DVR or VCR (do people still use those?).

One of my coworkers has missed a number of episodes already, so he's decided that he's just going to wait until they come ouut on DVD box set and watch them all then.

Me, I couldn't wait that long. I'm hooked! :)

OR! you can watch it online - they post it the next day on nbc 2 pm PST or 5 am EST. it was gooood. but as always, like the neverending movie. :)

yup, i know it's on sci-fi fridays :) i'd love to watch online but it's just not the same--i need television quality! i tried watching the first episode online but it wasn't as exciting as when i watched the premiere on television. besides, i'm very animated when i watch my shows, so i have to have ample space where i can pace, act/react and still be able to see the big screen. and i'd feel less inclined to throw a television if i had a bad reaction to a scene, or the ending of an episode. ;)

I watch this show too! I haven't seen last night's yet (I DVR'd it). I was so tired yesterday, I actually went to bed before it came on. It's driving me crazy, because I won't be able to see it until late today because I have a baby doc appointment in the morning and an "appointment" for my kids to see Santa their cousins this afternoon (the exciting life of a stay-at-home mom). ;)

Last night, Hiro went back in time and it caused a paradox that destroyed the space time continuum. The episode ended with everything being wiped out of existence. Luckily Sylar had just eaten the brain of the guy who could create universes.

Hope I didn't spoil anything.

budd, you almost made me use my super hero powers to reach across the internet and slap you silly. yes, that is my power but only when i experience agita. wait a sec. i don't recall sylar ever eating brains. did he? okay, now you're throwing me off dude.

tami, hang in there. lord knows i'm beating myself up for being so freakin picky about watching everything on television.

ahlrighty gang, maybe i'll give the online viewing another try. *gulp* it's driving me nuts because i want to ask what everyone's thoughts are so far.

Oh, I've been too busy at work to post about it today, but now I'm glad because I'd hate to spoil it for you. I love that you and your friends have a viewing night. I used to do that for big finales of some of my favorite shows a few years ago. ::sigh:: I miss that.

Well, hurry up and watch it because I have questions and theories. :-) Adrian Pasdar was on Megan Mullaly's show yesterday. I taped it. He was good.

Our theory at work is that sylar eats the brains after he cuts the heads open. I am suprised he doesn't keep the lids as cereal bowls.

What would happen if he used his laser finger to cut open clairs head. would her body heal before he could remove the lid? Would he get really frustrated and just give up. Would her healing factor heal his mental illness and cause him to not be a psycho.

I love the allusion of watch repairer and genetic coding.

I think if Sylar catches Claire, he'll be able to absorb her power and will become virtually indestructible. But he seems almost indestructible now. I'm surprised Eden and the Haitian guy (does he have a name?) caught him so easy last time. Oh and does this mean that . . . oh wait, she hasn't watched it yet. Nevermind. :-P

the hatian's power must be on all of the time and he has the ability to turn it off when he wants. What if the Hatian can only erase memories and it is Claire's dad that can mute powers.

agh! i'm watching it tonight. i'm with you kelleah, sylar's potential is limitless and i was wondering the same thing--why was he caught so effortlessly? it's strange...

budd, that's an interesting theory about claire's dad being able to mute powers. there's something sinister about him and i can't put my finger on it. other than he's in on some secret government project...

i just remembered. my brother has a theory that mr. bennet has NO powers at all and it's the haitian guy who also mutes powers. he brought up a good point that the two are always together. remember when eden and bennet were in the room with sylar? haitian guy was down the hall so maybe he's the one hitting the mute button. i think i may have to lean toward that theory...for now :)
