this past friday i had dinner with my brother. i'd been craving pizza all afternoon so i suggested california pizza kitchen and lucky for us, the wait wasn't too long for a friday night. we were seated within 20 minutes and ordered sesame chicken ginger dumplings, singapore shrimp rolls and goat cheese with roasted peppers pizza. everything was de-li-cious. i can't say that i've ever been disappointed with a meal from there but then again, i haven't tried EVERYthing on the menu. i was a little bummed because we had managed to overlook the "new" mango tandoori chicken pizza:
Grilled Tandori chicken, mango, mild onions, red peppers and Mozzarella cheese on a SPICY Golden Curry sauce. Topped with fresh cilantro and a sweet mango chili sauce.
seriously, how could i have missed out on ordering something with SPICY golden curry and sweet mango chili sauce on it?! i definitely want to go back to give that pizza a try.
here are some photos from dinner...
oh, and lately i've been on a kick of photographing light fixtures while i'm at a restaurant. this one was above our table and it almost looks like an illuminated champagne flute.

grrrace, was it spicy HOT? or did it have just enough heat to give the pizza a little kick?
